During class we watched The March which was about the famous March on Washington.
The March on Washington was a political demonstration held in Washington, D.C., in 1963 by civil rights leaders to protest racial discrimination and to show support for civil rights. The movie was narrated by Denzel Washington. The people marched for jobs and freedom and was a political movement to stop discrimination on blacks. Martin Luther King Jr. also gave his famous, I Have A Dream, speech during the march which started the end of segregation.
